What's Happening in Hejls...?
Hejls is located almost halfway between Haderslev and Kolding, just a few kilometers from Hejlsminde's lovely beach.
Both cities offer many exciting attractions, such as Haderslev Cathedral or the Koldinghus castle ruins.
About 8 km southwest is the UNESCO town of Christiansfeld. If you're looking for some fun for the kids, LEGOLAND is just a short hour's drive away. The area around Hejls also offers:
Hejlsminde Beach serves as a natural gathering spot in the center of Hejlsminde, close to the town's harbor.
The beach is child-friendly with fine sand and a shallow coastline with a sandy and stony bottom. Depending on wind and weather conditions, you often need to be more than 200 meters from the shore to reach a water depth of more than 2 meters.
The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for its high water quality and excellent facilities, including a bathing jetty, a wheelchair ramp into the water, as well as a kiosk, toilets, and accessible toilets. There is also a small playground and beach volleyball courts.
Skamlingsbanken is the highest point in Southern and South Jutland, known for its stunning views and its unique place in Danish history. Visit both the experience center and take a hike in the beautiful landscape.

"Socker-Golf" has become a popular activity in Denmark. It is for everyone—regardless of age or gender. The goal is to have a fun and enjoyable day, combining exercise with a bit of competition. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks.
In football golf, the golf ball is replaced with a soccer ball, and the holes are obviously larger. The ball must be kicked through, under, or over various obstacles. The player with the fewest kicks wins. We have created 18 exciting holes, and if you go in a group of 4, it takes about 1.5 hours to complete the course. Football golf is ideal for stag parties, school events, birthdays, family outings, company events, vacation activities, or just for fun with friends and family.
